Barbados - Day Two - Monday, 16 October
Once again, we were up bright and early for the second professional coaching session (this time with Tracey).
Tracey showed us some new drills which we are looking forward to bringing back to the UK! Once the training session was done, the girls felt prepared and confident for their match later that afternoon.
We had a quick stop at Masseys Supermarket to grab some lunch and a few hours enjoying the sun before our first game at The Alexander School on the North Coast of the island.
Both teams started off strong, however Invicta quickly took possession and, with some excellent interceptions and shooting, ended with a 13-2 win! A particular mention to Hannah Bowers and Jasmine Etheridge for playing all four quarters in the sweltering heat and making some great interceptions.
Once back at the hotel, it was time to get ready for the evening, which was being spent at the 'Harbour Lights Dinner Show'.
The show was amazing - with everyone dancing to live bands, performances from a fire eater, stilt walkers and limbo dancers (which Miss Palmer and Kate had a go at on stage, too!) A thoroughly enjoyable evening for everyone!
