Invicta Grammar School is a highly respected school that has an exciting opportunity to build on the achievements of a very successful Music Department. We would like to appoint a Teacher of Music to join us in September 2023.
Invicta Grammar School has an outstanding music department with more than 300 students partaking in a wide range of activities including four choirs, a school orchestra, wind band, big band, guitar ensemble, and rock and pop bands. The music department features regularly in the cultural life of the school, with a wide range of musical events including the Autumn and Spring Concerts, an Advent Service, the VIAT Summer Festival, the school production, 'Spotlight' Concerts and performances at Leeds Castle.
The role is for committed and motivated professionals who would like to work in a school that provides a wealth of opportunities for both its students and staff, along with wanting to be part of a family friendly, team based workforce. This post would be suitable for outstanding ECTs or experienced teachers looking for leadership responsibilities across the school. It should also be of interest for candidates who have or have not had a grammar school experience.
