Barbados - Day Five - Thursday, 19 October 2017
The day got off to an early start with a 7am training session. The heat was much more bearable at this time, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the drills and games that Denise (the coach) had organised for us, especially the 'tail' warm up game!
It was then back to the hotel for some chill out time in the sun, before getting ready for the third match of the tour against Harrison College.
The game started, and Harrison College managed to take an early lead. Despite an impressive third quarter played by Invicta, which saw the girls go from losing by 5 goals to losing by just 1, the game ended on a 15-9 win to Harrison College. The school were so friendly and accommodating, with both teams sharing an end-of-match 'cheer huddle' and players from Harrison College gifting our girls with key-rings and badges.
The day ended very chilled, with dinner cooked by Miss Abbott and Miss Palmer at the hotel, followed by an evening playing cards.
