Eastborough School Celebration of Creative Writing
30 Eastborough Year 4 students gathered together in the Invicta Common Room, to celebrate their creative writing, with cake and public readings. Since January a team of dedicated Invicta students have been working closely with Eastborough Primary students as part of their POP project. Georgia Humphrey, Kiara Pieterse, Alice O'Dwyer and Jecca Gladwell have mentored students during creative writing sessions and now everybody involved gathered together to enjoy some dramatic storylines ranging from Sharkmania and carnivorous toilets to shape shifting emojis. The stories were enjoyed by all and were beautifully illustrated and bound for the primary students to take home with them.
A special thank you to those girls mentioned above for organising and hosting the event and to Mrs McHale for overseeing the whole project. Thank you also to Mr Giles for his input to the project and for his report.
