Year 5 Primary Mathematics Workshop
On Tuesday 11 March, the Mathematics Department saw 80 Year 5 students descend on them, all excited to take part in a Mathematical Relay Race. The students had to work in two’s or three’s to answer a series of questions. Once they had answered a question, they checked it with a teacher and then if correct they moved on to the next question. The students approached the race with enthusiasm and had a fantastic time. The girls who got the furthest through the questions received a puzzle cube eraser as a prize. Well done to all involved – we were very impressed with your perseverance!
