Primary Maths Challenge
On Wednesday, 12 February the third and final heat of the UKMT Primary Maths Challenge took place at Invicta Grammar School. Teams of four from eight different primary schools took part in the day. The 6 different rounds, included a speed test, a logic puzzle and a relay race. Wateringbury Primary completed the final relay race and achieved a massive 48 points. The relay race was the highlight of the day for the students; they enjoyed combining Mathematics and running! The top four schools were Wateringbury 1st, Kingshill 2nd and a joint 3rd place between Ditton and Sutton Valence. These four teams have been invited to take part in the grand final of the Primary Maths Challenge on Thursday 19 June 2014.
