DEPARTMENT FOR EDUCATION UPDATE - 1 April 2020
We received information from the Department for Education, on 1 April 2020, confirming that due to the current situation with Covid-19, it will not be possible to go ahead with admission appeal panels as originally planned. The Department for Education has reassured us that they are working urgently on emergency regulations and guidance to establish alternative arrangements which are suitable, but also flexible, and that they will update us as soon as possible.
As a Trust, we are looking at extending current timescales and will update you as soon as we are in a position to confirm the revised arrangements.
In these unprecedented times all VIAT main schools are currently closed. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause,
If you are due to submit an Appeal application by 27 March, please can we ask you email your Appeal form only to office@invicta.viat.org.uk so that we can log your application.
We are currently awaiting guidance from KCC in relation to this year’s appeal process and would ask you keep in contact with KCC for further guidance.
