House Shield Challenge
One term down, five to go! The Houses have been very busy this year playing benchball, spelling complicated words, running laps of the astroturf and selling cakes. Colvin, Curie, Nightingale, Pankhurst and Frank have all won an event since the start of term.
House Sports Shield: So far Pankhurst is in the lead with 67 points, Nightingale is second with 33 points and Curie is only 1 point behind on 32 points.
House Points Shield: All those rewards add up! Bronte is in the lead with 357 points, Austen is in second place with 335 points and in third place we have Curie with 323 points. But watch out Curie, Roddick are only 2 points behind you!
House Charity Shield: As detailed below, only one House has held a charity event so far this year, Curie held a sponsored run around the AstroTurf and raised over £700 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. I think Mrs Robinson has her eye on all 3 shields this year!
Looking forward to this term, we will have more bench ball, the Year 9 and 10 Spelling Bee finals, another extended form time on Thursday, 29 November and I am sure the Heads of House will be announcing exciting events to raise money for their charities.
