Invicta students attended the Pretty Curious Event and Detling Showground run by . They had to create electronic circuits and drones using clip together electronics called little bits. There were about 20 teams and our teams did extremely well. https://t.co/HsGaavzArT

On 15 November the Junior Interact and Junior Young Chamber POP groups invited the Invicta Over 60s group to a Barn Dance. The students made decorations of bunting and paper chains, as well as homemade cup cakes for the afternoon tea. Everyone showed off their dancing skills! https://t.co/1sP9YgYy7d

Invicta’s bees are doing well and we had a good honey harvest, which the girls enjoyed collecting. We are selling the honey to raise money to buy some new bee suits. Beekeeping continues to help girls towards their D of E award, either as a skill or as community service. https://t.co/8JhFMpPimb

On Saturday, 4 November, 20 eager Year 5 students joined Mrs Billingham and Mrs Moore for a Food Technology Workshop. We are very proud to receive acknowledgement from KCC congratulating us on the schools Progress 8 2017. Also, that it was very positive to see that this is well above the National Average, meaning that learners do well compared with their peers from the same KS2 starting points.

Megan Ormiston Competes in Triathlons, Duathlon and Aquathlons. Competed in the Inter Regional Duathlon and came 4th in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Megan is  in the top 20 performers in GB.
