Year 7 took part in a Geography field trip to Spot Lane Nature Area. It was a lovely sunny day for the 5.5 km walk through Bearsted, on to Spot Lane Nature Area and finally through Mote Park back to school. https://t.co/Gl8oWoumVp

Year 7 girls took part in the STEM Tetrahedron Finals at BAE Systems, having won the first round earlier in the year. Firstly they had to make a sphere out of straws and split pins, then they had to build a bridge with k’nex without support in the middle. They were joint winners. https://t.co/FnXkNdblUC

Well done Hermione in 7T who entered an on-line Pangea International Maths Competition. There were 50,000 entrants worldwide and 4,000 from the UK. Well done to Lavinia in 7T who took part in charity, music event organised by the Boughton Monchelsea Community Choir in order to raise funds to build a hydrotherapy pool for Five Acre Wood School. Lavinia played the Clarinet and guitar for the event which raised £1600!

Freya Stevens Competes for Regionals in Trampolining. Currently Level H.
Megan Ormiston Competes in Triathlons, Duathlon and Aquathlons. Competed in the Inter Regional Duathlon and came 4th in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Megan is  in the top 20 performers in GB. 
Abi May Competes internationally for Karate and has been selected to attend the United World Karate England Selections.

Alex Sykes Competes in U17 Kent Country Netball academy as part of the England Performance Pathway. 
Ellie Brown Plays at Regional level in Netball and has been selected into the London and South East Regional Netball Academy.  
Maddie Brant Plays for Chelsea Ladies Football Club and has been selected by The FA to attend a number of residential training camps as part of the pathway towards selection for the England Woman’s Football Squad.
