If you are considering a grammar school education for your daughter you will already be giving thought to finding the right school for her. You will probably already know that Invicta Grammar School has an outstanding reputation in the county for being a school that provides an excellent education in a very special environment. An environment where every child is seen as an individual and where every member of staff is dedicated to ensuring that students are supported to achieve their potential in all that they do. We have an unrivalled reputation for supporting and guiding our students to fulfil their potential. Our staff are a well-qualified team who ensure that our students are prepared for each new step they take. We pride ourselves that our induction process supports our new students to make the move from primary to secondary school easily and successfully.

In September 2017, your daughter will be in Year 6 and will take the Kent Test early this month. She may have participated in one of our Year 5 workshops in the previous academic year so that she will already be familiar with Invicta.

Important Dates for your diary are:

Thursday, 5 October 2017 - 11+ Open Evening (6.00-9.00pm). No booking required.

Wednesday, 11 October 2017 - 11+ Open Morning. (9.00 - 10.30am). Click here to make an online booking.

Thursday, 12 October 2017 - 11+ Open Morning. (9.00 - 10.30am). Click here to make an online booking.

Friday, 13 October 2017 - 11+ Open Morning. (9.00 - 10.30am). Click here to make an online booking.

Once your daughter has passed the Kent Test, she can attend our Year 6 Transition Workshops starting in November 2017. The girls joining us in September 2018 will be our Class of 2025 so we have called the workshops "Team Invicta for 2025".  They are designed to familiarise your daughter with Invicta, build confidence, meet new friends and have fun. Booking for the Year 6 Transition workshops will be available after the 11+ Open Evening in October 2017.

Parents/Carers are notified in March 2018 if their daughter had been successful in gaining a place at Invicta Grammar School, starting in September 2018.

We look forward to meeting you soon and welcoming you to our very special school, which received an outstanding accreditation from Ofsted after their inspection in September 2012.

A copy of this year’s Year 7 Parent Handbook can be found below. It contains information on many aspects of life at Invicta which will give you an insight into our happy successful school. The Admissions 2018 document found below gives more specific information regarding the admission process.
