Science Technician
Science Laboratory Technician
Required as soon as possible, the Trust wishes to appoint a Laboratory Technician.
The successful applicant will be required to work 37 hours per week, term time only (190 days – see note below*), and will have experience of working in a laboratory environment, preferably in a school. The successful candidate will ideally be required to prepare science experiments at all key stages up to and including A Level investigations. Salary will be according to experience but will be paid on VIAT Grade 4 Point 18 – 21 with an actual salary of £17,1253-£18,968.
The Science Department at Invicta is very large and the relevant support and training will be given, if required, to the successful candidate.

*A normal academic year would consist of 190 days however, where there are less than 190 teaching days in an academic year, the successful candidate will make this time up outside of term time on staff only days, open events etc.
