We are seeking to recruit an Apprentice Business Administrator who will be able to provide a confidential and admin support service to the school supported by the Office Manager.

Job contexts:
The post-holder provides a range of administration services and therefore work is generated throughout the day. This might include the following tasks:
- Arrange necessary stationery orders
- Prepare and issue letters
- Issue and distribute emails as requested
- Assist with the development of relevant school literature
- Answering the telephone and covering receptions, after initial training
- Letters and email communication to stakeholders
- Booking meetings and venues
- Administration tasks in relation to school trips
- Supporting the organization of school events
- Supporting with our transition programme
- Assisting with hospitality arrangements.
Things to consider:
Apprentices may be asked to support evening events during term time – this will be through negotiation.
Person Specification:
- As a member of the Support Staff Team, the candidate would need to reflect a professional and business-like manner.
- Be respectful of the school's expectations with regard to staff behaviour and presentation with regards to working with students and parents.
- Adopt a professional and presentable dress code and lead by example at all times,.
Desired Skills:
- Good communication skills.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Ability to capably use Microsoft Work and Excel.
- Professional written communication skills.
- Appropriate skills and qualities to work with young people eg. Professional, encouraging, approachable..
Qualifications Required:
- A minimum of 5 GCSE's grades A-C to include English and Mathematics.
