Invicta Grammar School is a highly respected school offering an exciting opportunity to build on the achievements of a flagship department. We are looking to appoint a Lead Teacher of Music to join us in September 2026.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a very successful department, overseeing both the curriculum and an extensive extra-curricular programme, with the support of the VIAT Director of Music and the VIAT Deputy Director of Music. The postholder will plan and teach engaging lessons, assess and track progress, maintain a safe and well-managed environment, and contribute to curriculum development and the wider life of the school. The successful candidate must demonstrate a passion for music and the ability to convey this to students.
