Visitor from USA

We were delighted to welcome Mr J Boster, Principal of the Frank J White Academy in Tennessee to Invicta this week. The academy is our sister World School.

Mr Boster took part in a question and answer session on American Politics with a Year 12 group and observed a number of lessons including Biology, Maths, Geography History and Business Studies. He also enjoyed participating in the Space Workshops that were being held in the Art Studio.

World School students and staff treated Mr Boster to an afternoon tea. There was much discussion as to the protocol of jam on cream or cream on jam when eating scones! He also spent the day in London visiting the Tower of London, Parliament Square, Whitehall and Trafalgar Square. He was delighted to see Princess Anne leaving Buckingham Palace during the afternoon.

We are looking forward to welcoming one of his students for a two week study visit next week and look forward to working together on a number of projects in the future.
