Year 7 Business and Enterprise (BEN) Fair
Poppy–Rose Hancock in 7V sent us this report.
“As part of the learning process for Year 7 in BEN lessons, we were put into groups and had to come up with a business idea to sell to the rest of the school, with profits going to charity. On the week commencing 8 May, all Year 7 tutor groupd sold their products that they had spent weeks planning, creating and organising in their Business and Enterprise lessons. The products sold ranged from stress balls, body scrubs, pom-poms, slime, cushions and sweet jars. Every day, the lunchtime stalls were surrounded by students from all years keen to buy BEN products. Rumour has it that the slime stand received made lots of money and the fudge stand sold out within 10 minutes!
The money raised is going to the Heart of Kent Hospice which is a local charity. Students in Year 7 can feel justifiably proud in raising a large sum of money for the charity on behalf of the Business Department.”
Thanks you to Miss Gater and the Business Department for organising the BEN Fair.
