Chamber Choir Recital

For the fourth year in a row, Mr Riley (accompanied on this occasion by Mrs Lloyd and Mr Perry) took 20 of our musicians down the A229 to Cranbrook, to give a lunchtime recital in St Dunstan's Parish Church. The Chamber Choir opened and closed the programme with selections from Kiss Me Kate, The Sound of Music (soloist Eleanor Newman), The Wizard of Oz, Meet Me In St Louis and Easter Parade. There were excellent solo items from soprani Sarah Vincent, Lottie Wells and Annabelle Majin as well as instrumental pieces from Hannah Clifton, Juliette Price and Ruth Thursby.

The audience - one of the largest in recent times, thoroughly enjoyed the variety of the programme, which was performed with great enthusiasm and polish by our young musicians.

Thank you Mr Riley for your report and for leading the Chamber Choir.
