Japanese Exchange Students Experience British Culture
Our Japanese visitors are enjoying their visit to Invicta. Today, they are visiting Valley Park School to participate in a Drama Workshop based on the musical "Wicked". They will also visit the school farm.
They have also visited Canterbury and spent the afternoon at Aylesford Primary School. They taught the primary school students a traditional Japanese dance and played games with them.
Yesterday, they produced art work based on the cultural differences between Japan and Britain. After an Easter Egg Hunt in the sunshine, they enjoyed a traditional afternoon tea complete with scones, jam and cream. They were fascinated by the history of "Afternoon Tea" and loved the bunting and 1940's tea dance music.
Thank you Miss Laming, Mrs Brewster, Miss Palmer and the prefects for making the day such fun for our guests.
