Holborough Lakes Primary School Visit
On Wednesday, 18 January, 20 Year 7-11 students were accompanied by Miss Lacey and Miss Puttock to Holborough Lakes Primary School. The visit was the first of four workshops. The students have been planning their workshops as part of their Wednesday POP afternoons. The girls worked with small groups from three VIAT primary schools (Holborough Lakes, Leybourne Chase and King’s Hill) to deliver Literacy Workshops.
These workshops were all based around engaging stories such as Roald Dahl’s “The BFG”, Lewis Carrol’s “Alice in Wonderland” and the classic legend “George and the Dragon”. Year 5 students took part in activities ranging from Dragon Slaying re-enactment, Diary Entry writing and Dictionary races! This is the first of four sessions which will continue over the next term at our partnership schools.
Well done to all of our Invicta students– your primary students were very engaged after all your hard work! Thank you to the VIAT schools for supporting our literacy workshops this term. Thank you to Invicta staff for supporting all the students.
