Year 7 World Water Day
On Monday, 21 March our Year 7 students took part in a 'World Water Day' Non-Uniform Day where everybody had to wear something blue. Additionally, the Year 7s enjoyed inviting students from other year groups to help them 'soak the teacher'. At lunchtime, the girls took great pleasure in throwing wet sponges at Miss Parker, Mrs Payne, Miss Woodford, Mr Claxton and Mr Fulford, raising approximately £300 for the Year 7 charity - The Long Well Walk! Well done year 7! Miss Parker does not promise any similar events in the near future!
Thank you to the teachers for being such good sports and allowing buckets of very cold water to be thrown over them.
