World School 2016
We received a record number of applications for this years World School International Forum, which will be held in Japan in late October. Twenty two Year 11 students have now given their presentations and seven students were interviewed.
We are delighted to announce that Evie Horner, Michalina Michalska and Katie-Louise Mason will represent Invicta at this prestigious event. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement. They will be accompanied by staff member Mrs K Brewster.
Invicta is the only school in UK to participate in the forum and has been part of World School since its inception. We are proud of this long association.
The World School was initiated in 1997 by Masaki Matsudaira, the former Chairman and present advisor to the board of trustees of Kanto International School, which is located in Tokyo, Japan.
The aim of World School is to create a truly border less entity that will bring together high school students and teachers from all areas of the world, for the purpose of helping students to adopt a global perspective, through accepting international standards. World School hopes that this will increase opportunities for students, deepen international awareness so that they become ambassadors of peace and friendship.
