Heathly Eating Workshop at Kingshill
On Tuesday, 23 February 2016 a Year 9 Hospitality group visited Kings Hill Primary School, to run a Healthy Eating Workshop with a class of Year 3 and 4’s. The girls from Year 9 were fantastic and really did Invicta proud. They led small groups of students who were thoroughly engaged throughout! They learnt about the ‘eatwell plate’ and the importance of a heathy balanced diet. They also learnt about their bodies and how foods affect different organs.
The Year 9 girls and the students at the primary school really enjoyed themselves, it was a brilliant opportunity. The students will be visiting us in two smaller groups to continue their healthy eating workshop with a cooking session here at Invicta. We look forward to welcoming those students here for another fun filled lesson. Well done to the following girls for delivering such a fantastic workshop: Abbie Crease, Lucy Gosney, Robin Govier, Rachel Hughes, Elin Jarman, Molly Jordan, Tilly Lines, Ella Pevy and Kacey Reach.
Thank you Miss Sibley for organising the workshop
