Spanish Exchange 2015
This week, twenty-five students from Invicta have spent time in Jerez de la Frontera in southern Spain on our annual Spanish Exchange: a trip that has proven itself to be just as popular as ever!
Students spent a day in a local secondary school seeing at first hand the differences between our school and those in Spain, and enjoyed cultural visits to sunny Seville and nearby Cadiz, but the highlight for most was the opportunity to get to know their partners and their families. The fantastic weather and differences in lifestyle in Spain meant the students were able to make the most of long, warm evenings in the park or city centre improving their Spanish and experiencing all the wonderful food that southern Spain has to offer.
It was with a heavy heart that the girls said goodbye to their partners on Thursday and returned to a drizzly Maidstone, but we are all looking forward to meeting again when we are visited by the Spanish school in March.
Thank you to Miss Vincent who took the students on the exchange.
