Year 12 AS Students at Neurobiology Conference
Although the induction fortnight had ended and the academic term was drawing to a close, a group of Year 12 AS Invicta students chose to attend a cross curricular trip to a conference on neurobiology. Headed by a panel of experts from Kings College London, the talks ranged from topics on neural development to dysfunction. Students also took part in the long and protracted questioning session on how a physical substance affects something as abstract as ‘the mind’.
Our students benefitted from the high level discussion which will prepare them well for the neurobiology and neuropsychology topics in their respective Biology and Psychology A2 courses.
Thank you to Mr Fulford and Mr Valdiny who took the students on the visit.
