Spanish Exchange 2014
During February, 30 students aged 15-18 and 2 teachers arrived from Instituto Seritium in Jerez in the south west of Spain for the annual Spanish Exchange of one week. Students were met by their excited partners after the long journey.
Unfortunately, it rained for most of their stay but they seemed to have had a good time visiting London and Canterbury, amongst other activities. On Friday the day was spent in school on various projects and they went bowling in the evening. Our guests were entertained by their exchange partners families during the weekend before returning to Spain. Many of our students have been invited back to Spain in the summer and lots of good friendships have been made.
Thank you to the Spanish Department for organising the exchange and giving both English and Spanish students the opportunity to develop their linguistic skills.
