Invicta students achieved outstanding GCSE and A level grades
Invicta Grammar School is delighted with another fantastic set of results!
Students at Invicta Grammar School achieved not only an outstanding set of A Level results but also gained a superb set of GCSE results this summer.
We are very pleased that all our Teachers Assessed Grades were endorsed and upheld by Ofqual following external moderation, acknowledging the hard work of our students as they achieved an outstanding set of GCSE and A level results. We employed an extremely rigorous system to generate the grades that most fairly reflected our students’ performance and we are very proud of what students have achieved. These two cohorts have been working extremely hard and courageously. Each and every student should be proud of what they have achieved.”
“Our students received qualifications today thanks to a great deal of extra work that teachers and support staff have taken on. The professionalism and integrity with which our staff have carried out the exceptional task of awarding TAGs, on top of a difficult year, is remarkable. I cannot thank them enough!”
Our students have approached COVID-19 with maturity, integrity and resilience. They were fully engaged in the Invicta Virtual School which enabled us to keep in touch with students and ensure that our students did not miss out due to COVID.
The school is delighted with notable achievements for the following students who obtained a sweep of four A* grades in A level subjects: Madeleine Brenton, May Bui, Sofia Byrne, Emily Dent, Caity Finn, Daisy Mallion, Hannah Rogers, Wangtang Yang.
A number of Year 11 students have also achieved a clean sweep of grade 9s: Eva Chirosca, Amelie Coy, Mollie Haynes, Terrena Laity, Ella Regan, and Arabella Whatling.
2021 has presented us with challenges and tested our limits but Invicta as a community has approached it with resolve, and overcome it with creativity, courage and above all, a sense of community. Our students have always approached school life with a can-do attitude and the set of grades that they have achieved is testament to the hard work of a cohort of fine young people who strives to be the best that they can be, and to the dedicated teachers who inspired them.
