Guide Dog Christmas Fair
Mr Ehren sent this report:
On Friday, 6 December the Invicta Guide Dog Committee ran their annual Christmas Fair. This was a great success raising over £350 towards the school's next Name a Puppy (NAP) scheme. The students on the committee ran their stalls independently and were a credit to the school. They demonstrated leadership, independence and many other desirable qualities to make the fair such a success. We were also privileged to be able to welcome Pedro and Gordon again, working Guide Dogs, with their owners. This meant that those supporting the fair could see exactly where their money would go and see the life changing impact that these wonderful dogs have on people. Thank you to everyone that ran a stall or supported the fair by coming and buying something. Everyone at the Invicta Guide Dog Committee would like to thank you for your on-going support. We would also like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a yappy new year.
