Design Ventura Projects
Adeana in 9S sent this report:
On Thursday, 7 November 2019, Year 9 Design and Technology students presented their Design Ventura Projects that we had been working on for the past term to the Leadership Group. The design Ventura project is run by the prestigious design museum in London. There were four groups; each presented a product idea, which they had developed over the course of the previous lessons. The presentation allowed the teams to share their prototype and explain their vision, marketing designs and the technology behind the design. The four product ideas were: a thermochromic heat sleeve, a straw adaptor, a ruler to help draw circles and a collapsible travel bin. We were all nervous to present but afterwards we were all relieved that we had done our best. The whole project was great fun and we all enjoyed it very much!
