Safer Internet Week
From Monday, 22 to Friday, 26 January Invicta students took part in anonymous polls about the internet and how they use it. This was organised by some of the Digital Leaders as a way of raising the profile of Internet Safety ahead of the upcoming Safer Internet Day on Tuesday, 6 February 2018. Mr Ehren and Mr Eke have been working with the Digital Leaders involved in this project who have decided on the questions to ask each day. Some of the Digital Leaders have also then been supporting with counting the responses to the questions being asked. It has been great to see students engaging with this and getting involved in discussing the simple questions each day as they arrive in school. With e-Safety being such an important area, this week has been used to highlight some of the areas that students may not think about very carefully when using online services. On the Safer Internet Day Mr Ehren, Mr Eke, volunteer students from Years 10 and 12 as well as some of the Year 9 Digital Leaders will be delivering a series of assemblies throughout the day covering a number of the important e-Safety issues.
