A Sunny Day for Invicta Fest!
On Friday, 22 September, Young Chamber celebrated a new academic year with the introduction of IGS Fest! The group organised food vans, festival glitter and live music to raise money for their chosen charity; SUDEP - supporting families affected by sudden death in epilepsy. Students, staff and visitors enjoyed the afternoon’s entertainment with bands including Rudy Warman and the Heavy Weather and the Arcaves. The amazing Invicta House bands also played, encouraging students to participate and join in with the festival activities. The audience supported performers by the stage, and relaxed in the sun, creating a fun and exciting atmosphere.
The event raised over £1000 although the grand total is yet to be confirmed. All monies raised are greatly appreciated and Young Chamber would like to thank all those involved in helping at the event as well as everyone that attended the event. The event was highly successful, and Young Chamber hope to see everyone there next time!
